Steering Committee Meeting at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) 12-14.02.2024

The third Steering Committee Meeting meeting started with a welcoming speech of local organizer  Marija Klopčič  and project coordinator Prof. Dr. Heinrich Schuele. It was attended by all members of the consortium.

Sara Pfaff, project manager made the overview about the implemented activities per WPs.

The responsible for Modules have presented the development of  SULAWE Modules and planned next tasks: Module 1 – Nataliia Hryshchenko, Associate Professor (NUBiP), Module 2 – Ihor Dvylyuk, As. Prof. PhD (Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies) and Module 3 – Olena Smirnova (Poltava State Agrarian University).

The project partners from EU universities discussed the Teacher’s trainings planned for spring 2024 and have clarified the timeframe for LLL study trips to EU.

The Summary of the working day made Prof. Dr. Heinrich Schuele, Project Lead.

In the afternoon, the organising committee of the 2nd conference at Poltava University discussed the schedule and tasks for all SCM members. The status of policy communication and cooperation was discussed too ( the main speakers were the representatives from Associations.

Next day started from the visit to iotechnical faculty of the University of Ljubljana, Department of animal Science. Prof.Dr.Tatjana Pirman , the vice-dean of the faculty made the presentation of Biotechnical faculty and Department of Animal Science.

After presentation, the SC meeting participants visited the labs for storage and milk analysis, genetic lab and experimental slaughterhouse.

Moderated by Sara Pfaff, the self-evaluation group work  was held.

About the results and further implications of 2-nd QA report told Marija Klopčič from UL.

The sustainability strategy plan and upcoming task and planned procedure was discussed with Sara Pfaff.

At the end of the day was discussion with all partners.

The final day of the SC meeting started with the discussion of WP7 – “Impact, dissemination and exploitation of project results”. Olga Getya from SMC HPHE told about the implementation of the work planned for 2023, next E-Newsletter and discussion about publications ideas. She presented the planning of WP7 activity for the next period: multi-media learning materials based on SULAWE curricula.

This day was discussed the status of RISE Training. Oksana Kravchenko from PSAU told about programme for LLL centres for each HEI in Ukraine and further steps for elaboration of course contents.

Then, Sara Pfaff told all consortium members about the upcoming tasks, made overview about missing documents and made the report about amendment be NGU.

Sara Pfaff and Prof. Dr. Heinrich Schuele made the summary of the meeting and planning of upcoming activities.

The  Steering Committee Meeting finished with meeting evaluation and closing speech of project coordinator.
