5250 students are enrolled across Bachelor- and Master programmes (61 bachelors and 93 masters) and different specialties. 120 international students are studying at the university up till now. The Center for Advanced Studies, Retraining, Improvement, according to the license, conducts retraining of specialists on the basis of higher education in 45 accredited specialties and 17 areas of training; advanced training of specialists in all accredited specialties at the university and advanced training of teachers.

During the period 2014-2022, the university implemented more than 50 international, national and regional projects, created 16 new laboratories and modern multifunctional educational spaces. For this, it was attracted more than 1.5 million euros and equipment as part of international technical assistance for the university.

According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 922 dated 10/18/22, the university received a temporary location in Kyiv (because of war).

In 2022, Luhansk National Agrarian University joined the University through reorganization, which was transformed into Faculty of Agriculture.

The faculty has 8 specialties that preparing specialists in the agricultural industry: agronomists, mechanical engineers, specialists in the organization of tribal affairs and in the organization and management of farming, technology of production and processing of livestock products, builders, veterinarians, process engineers for storage, canning and processing of meat and meat products, storage technologists, canning and processing of milk and dairy products, as well as specialists in ecology.
