Start of student mobility between PSAU and NUBiP of Ukraine

An introductory meeting was held to discuss the organisation of the internal academic mobility of Masters students from Poltava State Agrarian University and the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in the framework of the EU Erasmus+ Sustainable Livestock Production and Animal Welfare (SULAWE) project.
The meeting was joined by representatives of NUBiP of Ukraine: Ruslan Kononenko, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Aquatic Bioresources, Taras Yakubets and Mykola Voynalovych, Deputy Deans, and Natalia Gryshchenko, the international project manager. The team from the PSAU was represented by Svitlana Usenko, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Production and Food Technologies, and Larysa Kuzmenko, Deputy Dean.
The purpose of the academic mobility of students is to involve them in the processes of integration of Ukrainian higher education institutions into the European educational space. In particular, from 2023, NUBiP and PSAU will be modernising their MSc programmes in Sustainable Livestock Production, Animal Welfare and Digital Livestock Production, based on best practice from the Swedish, German and Slovenian livestock industries, as part of the SULAWE project.
During the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025, an academic mobility programme will be implemented between PSAU and NUBiP, during which students will be able to master the educational components of these fields in the partner institutions.
