The Sixth Steering Committee Meeting of the Project

The sixth Steering Committee meeting of the project took place on 30 October 2025.
Representatives from all partner organisations and universities participated in the meeting.
Among the issues discussed was a review of activities implemented between April and October 2025. These included the implementation of 16 student mobilities in Ukraine and the SULAWE Summer School; the development of didactic and policy recommendations; the delivery of LLL courses; the organisation of a final external evaluation; the preparation of a seminar on policy recommendations; and the organisation of a final event.
Olena Smirnova (PSAU), Andriy Getya (NUBiP of Ukraine) and Ihor Dviliuk (LNUVM named after S. Z. Gzhytskyi) presented an overview of their experience of implementing SULAWE modules and student mobility.
Students who had participated in the programme also joined the meeting. It was interesting to hear their views.
The issue of the fourth project conference on animal welfare and sustainable animal husbandry (NUBiP, NEU of V. Dahl) was also discussed. As well as reviewing and discussing the conference, prospects for the future were outlined.
The planned concept, timing and future steps for holding the policy recommendations seminar scheduled for 21 November 2025 were also clarified.
Quality assurance is a very important issue for the implementation of the project. The meeting therefore focused on the status of the final external evaluation and the preliminary results, as well as on the discussion of the sustainable development strategy.
Other topics covered included LLL centre activities, teacher study visits, didactic recommendations and a review of the project website.
The meeting concluded with a summary of what had been achieved and the definition of work to be carried out until completion.
