The university also aims to introduce the latest environmental protection agro- and biotechnologies, technologies for restoring soil safety and fertility, energy-saving agro-technologies, environmental and legal management in rural areas, monitoring and controlling compliance with standards, quality and safety of agricultural products, their processed products and the environment.

According to the results of 2022, the university ranks 8th in Ukraine (RANKING OF THE UNIVERSITIES IN UKRAINE «TOP-200 UKRAINE» 2022) та 3 місце в м. Києві (TOP-10 UNIVERSITIES IN KYIV, 2022). In the QS International University Ranking, it ranks 1201-1400 (QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKING 2023 #1201-1400).

NUBiP of Ukraine has international cooperation agreements with more than 180 educational and research institutions around the world. The university has close ties with the business community, employers, and industry associations, ranks first in Ukraine in terms of the number of research projects funded from the state budget, and its strong material and technical base allows it to conduct high-level research. Every year, about 800 students have the educational and industrial internships abroad.
