Shaping the future: digital innovation in animal breeding
As part of the ERASMUS+ project “SuLaWe”, a seminar “Practical application of digital technologies in livestock farming in Ukraine and Europe” was held on April 23.
The seminar participants were teachers and practitioners from various educational institutions in Ukraine. The speakers were representatives of commercial companies supplying products (AVA GROUP, Chub Agroconcept), who spoke about digital solutions used in pig and cattle breeding.
Representatives of livestock producers (SE “EF Myrne Food Resources Institute NAAS”, Group of Companies “Globino”, VINNYTSKA PTAKHOFABRYKA LLC) shared their own experience of how innovative tools help manage their farms.
The SuLaWe project was presented by Mr. Pavlo Vashchenko with a report “Application of digital technologies at livestock facilities in Germany” and Mr. Mykhailo Matveev, who spoke about the use of mathematical models for forecasting in livestock farming.
